Phenomenon of Essence II

Materialism: Death to Humanity

Cha Ching! Our death to humanity remains tied to materialist wealth through survival.

In return, this boosts our need for our egoic conquests. Yikes! Humanity is traded off for substantial, temporary goods for psychological and physical gimmicks that fail to support our expansive consciousness.

Materialism becomes the construction of a collective beast. Let's see! If we visualize a pen, it is a physical object with the same essence. We have the ability to modify it through our subjective means. Perfect! We can add lines to the side of the pen and use it as a ruler. According to the results, it's now a hybrid of a pen/ruler based on what characteristics we desired. The pen's essence isn't changed, but it's manipulated to look different and appearances can be deceiving

We live in the knowledge of phenomena where the majority of us believe reality exists in our heads rather than the outside. To some extent, this proves to be true as our ego becomes some identifiable placement in our reality, forgetting about essence or consciousness.

Funny! Our ego is also a toy that can be manipulated, but its essence remains the same though this is where the trade-off starts becoming sourdough bread. Through our circumstances, character, and environmental variables, we use the ego as a manipulative toy that can produce the material wealth we seek inside survival. Whether or not it is intentional or unintentional, it establishes the construction of identity, slowly associating its value with materialist wealth.

For a materialist, it would be completely difficult to remember or even understand why essence or consciousness should even matter anymore. However, it's the same comparison with the IT department and the scientists. The IT department needs insightful reports about their work despite how skillful they are in coding or working on software. The scientists need to communicate with the IT department to understand simple concepts, so they can find the most efficient perspective in their observations. We can find the same factor in both of these statements: essence. Whatever their need for survival is, they still go back to essence.

Ego can be seen as essential to survival though it is just the same as the hybrid pen/ruler. The more it's manipulated, the more it's bent, the more the collective beast is constructed in materialist wealth. The intrinsic value of essence becomes replaced with the extrinsic value of materialist wealth that becomes temporary and possibly even superficial. In fact, consciousness becomes withheld, controlling our egoic identities in ways that make us believe we are no more than what we create through our resources.

Not only did we manipulate our egos, but we also found other factions to enhance that manipulation, reinforcing this pseudo intrinsic value to the collective beast. In other cases of social, political, and cultural influences, we even constructed gender, sex, and racism. Looking back in history, we deliberately took advantage of our resources to prove that our egos are worth more than the actual truth, which defies humanity, making us look like contradictory hypocrites constantly.

Funny enough, if universities teach us that gender, sex, and racism is constructed, then why don't we ever question how the collective beast is constructed? The high, rolling exchanges of money launched into fancy, trendy clothes with sex appeal becomes a record of free will and duality, manipulating ego to satisfy its "survival". Even then, we can credit survival as being more psychological in that sense, there is a physical space that allows this.

It appears that playing the social game makes us fall into the pitstop that the ego is more valuable than essence...when really, we have successfully created an elaborate lie that has ruined a lot of our lives, yet amongst that chaos, there is still the banter and fortune of watching humanity destroy itself.
